Claire

Leibowitz

Previously CJS. Currently AARP.

Claire graduated with an M.S. in Journalism from Columbia Journalism School. She dove into the basics of business writing, the crucial elements behind climate reporting, and the power of local politics pieces. Her biggest accomplishment from the year explored vertigo as a chronic condition in a 5,000-word magazine story that investigated the disconnect between unspecialized doctors and unsatisfied patients. After graduating, she became an Associate Editor at AARP, where she's putting her love for New York City on hold and re-exploring D.C. beyond her previous lens as a George Washington University student.
